Fire Compartmentation Surveying in Kent
Fire compartmentation is designed to help restrict the spread of fire and smoke through a building by dividing areas using relevant fire-resisting construction. Damage, alterations and service penetrations can potentially compromise these measures, making professional surveying valuable when concerns need to be identified.
Safeguard Consultancy provides fire compartmentation surveying in Kent, helping clients gain a clearer understanding of visible passive fire protection features within their properties.
Buildings can change considerably during their lifetime. New services, alterations and maintenance work can affect compartment lines, which means areas that were originally designed to provide separation may require further attention.
Our fire compartmentation surveying can consider:
- Relevant walls and floors
- Compartment lines
- Service penetrations
- Openings within relevant construction
- Visible fire stopping
- Areas of damage or deterioration
- Relevant passive fire protection concerns
- Locations requiring further investigation
Following the survey, findings are presented clearly so clients can understand the concerns identified and consider appropriate subsequent action. This can provide useful information when planning maintenance, remedial work or further specialist investigation.
Safeguard Consultancy provides fire compartmentation surveying throughout Kent, as well as Central London, North London, South London, West London and Hertfordshire. Contact us to discuss the requirements of your property and arrange a professional compartmentation survey.
